The summer was about to move in; the heat and humidity were about to return, pushed ever higher by the relentless climb of global warming. Plugging in the old dehumidifier led to an astounding revelation - it no longer worked at all! I quickly went to a store having Frigidaire dehumidifiers and bought this 22 pint model. Peace of mind was mind restored when I emptied it for the first time. Frigidaire to the rescue. Mold and mildew vanquished.

We purchased our dehumidifier in 2017 as a gift for our in laws. The unit worked great but only lasted about a year and a half. Contacted Frigidaire and was sent an exact replacement unit. This unit lasted about two and a half years and again failed. I again contacted Frigidaire and was sent a newer model unit about two months ago. This unit seems to be working fine at this point, but too new to tell for sure.

The features is what attracted me to this humidifier after much research. The quietness and the turning off when not needed was the biggest selling point and it does not disappoint. Currently using in a spare bedroom with a mini-split that does not do a good job of removing humidity. This 22 pint is perfect. Quite, efficient, easy to use control panel and easy to use bucket. I personally would have like to have a larger bucket to reduce dumping of water.

I haven™™t used it a lot yet but have used it enough to know that it is just as quiet as my 50 pint capacity dehumidifier that I bought to replace a VERY noisy competitor model. Let™™s just say that life was not good. The competitor model was very noisy and the emptying handle broke. The Frigidaire emptying handle is very sturdy and both units are extremely quiet. Making the Full LEDs larger would warrant a 5 star rating.

This has been operating for almost a month, and I have no complaints. The instruction manual was easy to follow, the filter is a little tricky but relatively easy to get out, display is good, hose I bought to go with it works.

I have allergies that get worse when the house is humid so this year I added a dehumidifier on the 2nd level where the bedrooms are. This unit has done a good job of keeping the humidity at an appropriate level and when it runs during the night, just outside my bedroom door, I only notice it when I listen very closely for it.I was also very please to see that once the humidity is lowered to a certain point it will turn off the fan and everything so that it just sits there quietly. I have a unit in the basement of a different manufacturer that only shuts off when the bucket is full. This unit is much better as the fan only runs as long as it is needed and shuts down soon after the compressor kicks out. Great Job on that.

Replaced 2 smaller dehumidifiers with this one. What a big difference in humidity level. We have a 31™™ A class and the first few days I had to dump water every day. Now I leave it centered in the MH on medium speed. The humidity dropped from 61% to 29%. Very satisfied with the unit. Only issue was the threaded plastic discharge nipple. Threads had to be filed and recut from the mfg™™s mold marks so I could seal it. Easier to fix than to return.

Worked great until whatever holds the tank in place broke after about only a dozen uses. There was some kind of latching mechanism that disengaged when you pulled on the sides of the tank to remove it and re-engaged when you put it back as seen in YouTube videos. (BTW, available manuals talk about pressing the sides of the tank "gently" to remove it but this tank is absolutely rigid with no apparent latches on the side.) Didn't notice anything untoward when I took it out this last time but now it doesn't latch in place and be recognized by the unit. Presumably something broke, but what and where?

Works very efficiently. I have it in my son's room he has asthma. Reservoir fills up every 12 - 18 hours. A must have in Florida to keep humidity low so that mold and mildew spores don't grow.

I put this humidifier in my 33 ft. long camper. Before the humidifier there was condensation on the inside of the windows and on all the metal parts around the door. This humidifier took care of that problem within a few days and has kept it at a comfortable humidity.

I am extremely disappointed with the dehumidifier that I purchased for our new apartment which has inadequate ventilation. The dehumidifier did not work correctly because it repetitively leaked water, although it was not close to full. We attempted to contact your company , it was extremely difficult to do so, and ultimately I was not offered a refund or a new unit because I could not identify where it was purchased! I would have thought you could have identified where it was purchased.

We use this in the basement. The first one we bought worked great on full power to clear excess humidity, but then it couldn't be reset to run as-needed to maintain a selected humidity level. The replacement we received works great, is quiet.

I always knew I would get a dehumidifier but which one? I was familiar with the Frigidaire brand having grown up with a refrigerator of that name. After reading several reviews of dehumidifiers and having experienced the longevity and quality of said brand it was easy to come to a decision. When it is running you don™™t even known it is on. I have placed it in my office and it doesn™™t interfere with my work environment. It is easy to empty. I am pleased with its operation and style.

Moving back to Oregon, I knew the humidity would have an effect on my asthma; after all, this is where I developed the asthma! What to do? I decided that my home would be my sanctuary and invested in this dehumidifier. After using it daily for over a month, I am one happy camper. It does the job well, is not overly noisy, is easy to roll into a different room and looks nice too! A recommendation for this unit is easy for me to give.

Functions well, dehumidifies as expected.BUT, the level switch interface is terrible. Mine bent on second tank removal/installation. I how have to use an improvised widget to install the tank.AND after two months use, it now leaks around the hose drain connection. Which is tight.

I like the low profile. We use this in our basement family room. The feature where it turns on and off automatically is a huge help. I do have trouble pouring the water from the reservoir sometimes, because of the awkward shape. Overall, I really enjoy this machine and the fresh air it creates in that space.
